Horse heights

A hand is a unit of measure equal to four inches, used to measure the height of a horse from the ground to the highest point of the withers. The number of whole hands is followed by a period, then the remaining height in inches. We've done the conversion for you in inches, feet, centimeters and meters to provide an easy table reference for owners of all size horses.
