3 years ago I broke my back, 15 years old. I was on holiday with my family in Spain and we stayed in a 4 story apartment block. I didn't notice that the balcony was loose; I leaned against it with my back and I fell 4 levels, hit a canopy then the concreate by the pool. I was in a brace for 3 weeks and told I possibly could never walk again. 18 weeks later I was walking, 10 weeks after that I was jogging/running. I went for my last x-ray on Thursday and everything in OK, I now have a 7inch scar on my back. Read more: sims-pets-cc.freeforums.net/index.cgi?board=gu&action=display&thread=71#ixzz27EX4YE9o

Yikes emiie. That would've scared me, despite what I have already been through myself. I lost my right lung when I was fifteen years old, broke both legs in a logging accident, and suffered severe hypothermia 3 years ago. I slid on an ice patch and messed up my back. It temporarily paralyzed me and no one could find me. It was during a fire evacuation in the middle of January, and it was only eight degrees outside, and I was laying on the ground with nothing but a T-shirt and pants on. Glad you are better

Woah, frank.... I'm glad you're ALIVE! - I would have been scared lying on the ground in 8 degrees in a shirt!!!! It's amazing what people go through, and survive! The will to live in some people is truely amazing! I'm glad you're better too
