Hello and welcome to SPCC. Thankyou for joining I love the pitbull breed. But I hate the way we have ruined there reputation I currently have a Staffordshire x Pit and she is an excellent family dog and great with the kids.

I have 3 apbts, all were rescued (: I hate it too, there's just way to many uneducated people to try reason with. I bet your dog gets called a full blood pit? My neighbours dog, a Labrador, was mistaken for a apbt when they bit someone, out local paper said "Pitbull attacks again" and the picture of the dog was next to the title...

Yes people ask when we walk her if she is vicious but when we take her to the fields she is let loose and doesn't bother any other dogs Infact when they come near her she walks the other way but if she sees a swan or rabbit she is off trying to hunt it but she did once catch a rabbit I didn't scold her for it because it's in any dogs nature to hunt it doesn't mean she is aggressive even my parson terrier try's to go for the rabbits

Mine get the same treatment, all the time. Parents drag their kids away lol when they see my walking all 3, even more so when they're off leash. My dogs love to chase birds! My sisters JRT chases rabbits, they're dogs, ha! They like to chase I don't think my dogs would know what to do if they caught one... They chase for so long then come back "Mommy, I couldn't catch the wabbit "
